Geraldine Ree Named SVP Sales & Marketing for CruiseShipCenters Former Princess Cruises executive joins retail giant |

Vancouver, B.C.; September 5th, 2006 - Travel industry veteran Geraldine Ree has been named Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing for CruiseShipCenters International Inc. In this newly created position Ree will oversee all aspects of the company’s marketing and business development strategies. “Geraldine adds a whole new dimension to our executive team,” says Michael Drever, President and CEO of CruiseShipCenters. “She not only understands the travel business from every facet but she is also a dynamic communicator and a very skilled team leader.” Ree brings a wealth of experience in consumer marketing, retail sales and supplier operations to CruiseShipCenters. She has spent the past 17 years with Princess Cruises, most recently as Regional Sales Director for Canada, Mid, Central and Pacific Northwest USA. “This is an exciting time to join the CruiseShipCenters team,” says Ree. “The company is uniquely poised for growth over both the short and long term. I don’t think there is another company as strong in every core area of the business - retail, home-based, internet, marketing and technology systems.” Ree earned a Bachelors degree in Business Administration and Communication from Simon Fraser University. She began her career as a Sales Representative, first with McCain Foods, then with Wardair. She joined Princess Cruises in 1989 as a District Sales Manager. The announcement comes at a time when CruiseShipCenters is set for explosive expansion as it launches the Magic Johnson Travel Group in conjunction with Royal Caribbean International, GOGO Worldwide Vacations and Magic Johnson Enterprises. |
